Shaun gave me a Tamagotchi as my birthday present. The moment I saw it, I smiled. I did not mention that I actually like Tamagotchi, but it was really nice of him to get me one. What he bought me was a Tamagotchi Connection version3. This version3 Tamagotchi is very different from what I use to play last time when I am still small. This one is much more fun, and really very cute.

There are more than 32 characters inside the Tamagotchi, and all the characters have their own personality. This will make the Tamagotchi much more fun because you wont get boring with the characters. You can check the characters here.

There is also another function which is infrared. You can use your Tamagotchi to connect with your friend’s Tamagotchi. You can play games with your friend, and also wrap and send your friend a gift. You can have up to 45 friends. Your friendship level will improves when you make more connections with other Tamagotchi.
You can also discipline your Tamagotchi when it gets very naughty, or praise it to cheer up your Tamagotchi. Sometimes, the Tamagotchi will beeps even it’s not hungry, and this is the time to discipline it. Another point which makes Tamagotchi version3 is more fun then the old one because it has a ‘matchmaker’. If your Tamagotchi grows old and hasn’t found a partner, a Matchmaker may appear to suggest a partner for you. Finding a life partner is necessary to raise future generations of Tamagotchi. Once a partner is found, a new egg representing the next generation will appear. For the first 24 hours, your Tamagotchi will take care of all needs of the new baby. Tamatown is a town where Tamagotchi usually hang out. You need to go on line in order to visit Tamatown. In Tamatown, there are places like shopping mall, theater, townhall, travel, school, arcade, and also food court.
You can buy things or foods at Tamatown using the points you gain from playing games in your Tamagotchi. All you need to do is press on the item you wish to buy, and the password will appear. Key in the password into your Tamagotchi and you will get the item straight away. But not all characters can play with all items. Even if you cant go on line, you still can purchase items inside the Tamagotchi shop. You can also travel to other countries buy puchasing the ticket.

Sometimes when you sleep or go to school, maybe you cant take care of your Tamagotchi, but its ok. There is a pause mode, which will make the Tamagotchi’s growth stops. You can also select to on or off the sound. Over all, I think most of the girls will like this very cute Tamagotchi, with all the new functions.
I like mine a lot too, and now my Tamagotchi character is Hinatchi, a flying bird. Too bad, I am not very into birds.
