Hola from Melbourne!

Hie hie!
First blog post from Melbourne.
Yes, I changed my flight to a few weeks earlier from originally planed and here I am, already in Melbourne.
Flight was okay except that it was real cold, I cant stop sneezing and I cant quite fall asleep.
There’s a baby who keeps crying sitting right behind of me, yes that terrible.

I’m still feeling pretty worn out, sleepy and all.
I’ll do a proper post soon, I hope I have the time and my laziness wont kick in once again.

* here is my boyf and my new companion. damn i love my kermit bwahahah :D

One day at Malacca.

Call me slowpoke, it’s been almost a month since Ben left and now only I got around to post our Malacca one day trip.
Yes, I’m that lazy when it comes to editing pictures from trips.

The last time we went to Port Dickson, he wanted to let me try his hometown’s famous beef noodle but we were too late by the time we arrived.
So this time round, we tried our luck again.

* Famous beef noodle at Pasar Besar Seremban, can pretty much smell the aroma when I walked pass.

* So much more different from the beef noodle at KL. Both have their own distinguish flavour and I enjoyed eating both. What’s special about Seremban’s beef noodle is that they add peanut and sesame into it and their sauce is thick and special. The beef and the sauce just blends so well together. And the noodle we ordered is Seremban’s ‘lou shu fun’ which is also different from those we see at KL. Seremban’s ‘lou shu fun’ looks more like asam laksa’s noodle.
All in all, the combination is just great and it’s really tasty. I am so gonna eat this again. :9

We both shared a bowl for fear that our tummy will not be spacious enough for other Malacca’s food if we ordered a bowl for each of us.
And as usual, our first stop is Hoe Kee’s chicken rice.

*dayumnn, i’m missing all the foods!!

* fooled around at jonker street.

* i bought this boxing thingy, works quite well when i have a back pain.

* stopped by for eggy ice-cream.

* Rm3 sour plum flavour *refreshing* (I think the ice-cream on Ben’s tshirt is more interesting.)

We both wanted to go to Baba Nyonya museum so badly but I guess we wasted too much time at Jonker Walk, by the time we reached they’re already close. I was so sad, I wanted to go so so badly. ):

* Plan B, Cheng Ho’s museum which is pretty interesting. Didn’t know that he’s that powerful back then.

* And this museum is a lot larger than I thought, it feels like a maze inside.

After getting to know the great Cheng Ho we went to Stadhuys for a walk.

* Haha, my cute Romeo ♥ (:

Decided to look for my brother for dinner afterwards and we had a little argument before that. Ben wanted to take trishaw back to our car because we parked pretty far but I insisted that we should walk back because it’s expensive. What a stupid argument that almost ruined our day. Pfft, I cant help being stingy.

Fetched my brother and he suggested this beef bak kut teh.

* Actually it’s not a beef bak kut teh, just that they sell bak kut teh and beef in claypot but people called it beef bak kut teh. It’s pretty good, especially if you eat it in cold weather. But I doubt if Malacca will ever be cold.

Last stop is at Nadeje for their Mille Crepe which I’ve already blogged about.

* A very comfortable place.

* It’s insane we’re already so full yet we ordered Mille Crepe and my brother ordered Salad. Pricing is really reasonable for their ambiance and food which taste pretty good.
Accidentally saved my picture as low quality, hence this really low quality picture.

* And lastly some pictures from Ben’s iphone.

We’re running out of time because Ben’s leaving or else we’re gonna stay a night there. Too bad. ):
I wanna go to Melaka Wonderland so badly!! It’s like A’Famosa or Sunway Lagoon but much cheaper and lotsa slides!!

* Just look at the slides!! ohmaigawd!! I don’t care if it’s lousier than the both mentioned above cause I’m bored of them. And this is cheap!
Rm26 on weekdays and Rm30 on weekends.

I’m so gonna go!

Sweet Escape to Avillion Cove

Last week, Ben suggested that we go to Port Dickson for a short trip.
Of course, I’m up for it. He wanted to stay at water chalet but it’s kind of pricey so I tried googling for a cheaper place to stay.
Found Avillion Cove and I didn’t actually know there’s a place like this in my country.
Fall in love with it once I saw the pictures on their website.
I just love seeing all this yatch.

* Wasn’t sunny the day we arrived.

* Lovely yatch waiting to greet us :D

Guess my picture did not do much justice. Maybe you should take a look at their website here.

* Our premium room. I wanted a deluxe because it’s cheaper but it’s fully booked. U_U

* This premium room can actually accommodate up to 6 person. The room is Rm200++ per night, if divide by 6 person, one have to pay roughly Rm40+ which is pretty reasonable for me. The room is spacious enough, clean and looks nice at the same time.

* My crappy nude face before swimming. I wonder how many times more I have to disappoint this guy because I cant stay in the pool for long due to the temperature. I really cant stand the cold but this time I’m slightly better, I really did swim. :wink:

* This is my…

* …poser boyfriend. hahaha

Get to rest awhile after swimming and shower before heading out to Seremban for our dinner.
No gps needed as his hometown is at Seremban.

* Brought me to try Seremban’s oh-so-famous baked crab but he actually did not know which restaurant to go.

* Taste good? Nah, normal.

* Went back to our hotel’s bar for a drink and pool session after dinner. Wanted to go for a walk by the beach but I was too tired. End up watching some scary movie in our room. I’m such a ‘potong’ girlfriend, haha.

Oh ya, saw this funfair on our way to dinner and decided to stop by when we’re heading back to hotel.
Ben: Why is the funfair on my dad’s land.
Me: Har!? T_______T”’

I don’t know how to react wth. But that funfair is a fail funfair. Big time.
Sigh, the thought of missing this funfair during March makes me a sad girl, wuwu.

Remaining pictures are from Instagram.

* Imagine that, we rather play with Instagram than the rides at this funfair.

* Hahahaha. I can laugh all day looking at this picture.

Yeah, back to the movie. Slept late from watching the movie thus waking up late and skipped our free breakfast! D:
Hur! Damn sad can, I love breakfast buffet. ):
Ended up paying for some sandwich.
Went over to a beach for some kite flying session after checking out :D

* KITES!!!

* Me and our kite :D

* How come he knows how to fly a kite?

* But I don’t.

* heart this picture though I look kinda chubby!

Such a relaxing trip yet fun at the same time. I’m gonna do the kite flying again someday :D
If only we had more time to stay there, it will be even greater.
A very nice place to just chill, sit back and relax.

Ending this post with a 007 picture. HAHAHAHA!!

2 nights in Cheratingsss !

Cherating post is up! (:
Most of the pictures were candid.
The trip to Cherating was okay but it’ll be so much better if we can enjoy the beach more, with sun.
It was gloomy, almost all the time plus drizzling.
But no one cares bout the rain, still enjoy as much inside our own private pool.

* The first two who jumped into the pool. Victor and Ben.

* AAAAAA! every time when i’m in the pool i do not want to wet my hair but see…..

* Everyone’s attacking Alvin, bwaha!

* I like this picture! Bryan looks so cute.

* Round 1!!

* The dry ones.

* Forever cheeky Gavin.

* Baboon’s ass Ben.

Woke up early the next day, as in super early to catch the sun rise because someone wanted to.

* But as you can see, this is a fail sun rise watching. Nothing can beat the one at Redang!

* It’s still pretty dark when we’re on the beach.

* (:

* Luckily I cover my face. D:

* Since we’re already awake, of course breakfast must not be miss. So happy when I saw croissant and cinnamon danish. Pastries makes me happy (:

Went back to bed after breakfast, haha. fail.com
Initially, I wanted to prepare breakfast for them but I was too tired, I slept while everyone’s awake.
Hurried to the beach after that, since it’s not raining. Weather forecast said there’s gonna be thunderstorm.
Thank god it isn’t that accurate.

* Boys and their ball.

* Victor seems like having fun playing with the sand, haha.

* Sorry for the butt crack (HAHA) but we’re actually catching crabs. I had so much fun catching crabs :D

* See closely, there’s mini crabs in it.

* This is epic!!

* Everyone looking at the crabs again, hahaha.

* Then it turns to everyone looking at Victor showering.

* And I’m gonna end this post with a picture of 3 guys in a public swimming pool.

Swimming, swimming, and swimming.
I was pretty worn out from the trip. Lack of sleep and everything else.
I had fun, I did.

This is a trip that changed everything.
(What a sentence to end my post, lol)

Bangkok, like a heaven.

finally finish resizing and editing all these pictures.
been wanting to blog bout my thailand trip since the moment i’m back.
if you haven’t know already, i went there for a total of 5 days and 4 nights.

the hotel i stayed in is called Budacco and i strongly recommend you guys to stay there if you’re planning to go to bangkok.
the service is awesome. the opened the door for you, carry your luggage and they’re super friendly.
the place is super clean and tidy. nothing much to critic about seriously.
plus you can choose colour for your room. pink, purple, blue, green, yellow and orange.
and also it’s so near to platinum mall. just walk three streets and cross the pedestrian bridge.
trust me, you’ll love this hotel like i do. (:

* while waiting for the plane.

it’s evening when we reach bangkok on the first day.
the first thing we did is of course to settle down. then walked over to platinum mall and once i saw those shops, the shopaholic me cant wait to explore each and every shops i pass by.
but of course we didn’t because we’re all so hungry. so we thought of having our dinner first, then only we start shopping.
bad thing is, once we’re done with our dinner those shops are already closing.
it’s only 8pm. emo straight away U_U
no pictures taken on the first day as we did not go to any places.

* me camwhoring while waiting for two of my roommates to be done. i think i look like a little girl here :3

* at the small cafe in the hotel.

* my roommates and me (:

on the second day, after our breakfast the first destination we went to is Grand Palace.
it’s a king palace which is open for the public to visit. the purpose we went there is for the emerald buddha. we wanna pray and make a wish. i know right, macam aunty.
but have to go ler. ‘bai sen’ very important!! pfft.

* outside Grand Palace.

* have to wear thai skirt because our bajus is inappropriate.

* me likey this picture and me likey the thai skirt. hehe :3

* macam thai boy. haha

* no idea what’s this but it looks kinda appealing to me.

* i just have to take this picture. HAHAHA!

* after Grand Palace we went to somewhere near Siam Paragon to pray again. the oh-so-famous four face buddha. lots of chinese people like to go there to pray especially hongkies.

* inside siam paragon’s toilet. siam paragon is like our pavilion, full with branded stores.

* inside tuk tuk while going back to hotel. damn good larh this picture.

* it’s raining outside when we want to grab our dinner. we bought raincoats and went outside. HAHA. i can only do this in thailand and not malaysia. people in malaysia will laugh at me wtf.

* our dinner. damn nice cockles.

third day, our chatuchak day.

* outside our hotel (:

* such artistic piece. :X

* busy paying for the stuff she bought.

* in the middle of chatuchak’s street. i look so tiny!

* this uncle likes mah weng kee a lot because he thinks that weng kee looks a lot like his son. in a way, the uncle and weng kee really look a like.

* woah! mad accessories. really nice but not cheap for me.

* guess what i’m doing :\

we repeat our routine everyday.
shop from morning till night, and massage during the night.
chatuchak is somewhat like our petaling street but a thousand times better.
super big with super lots of things to buy, tons of variety.
from pets to clothes to decorative stuff. plus it’s not that hot compared to petaling street cause they have roofs that helped to block out the sun. good place. :D

we just shop and shop. even during the last day we shop till the last minute.
cant help. seriously cant help.

* waiting to board the plane back to homeland.

* the 4 girls (:

* byebye bangkok. i’ll miss you everyday.

spend roughly Rm2000 for this trip which includes air ticket, accommodation, food, transportation, massages, and shopping! (:
i’ll make this as an annual trip if i’m capable.
till we meet again, darling bangkok.

♥

reasons why i ♥ bangkok

actually i love everything bout bangkok.
except for 2 things.
first is the dust there. bangkok is really dusty, feel as if i’m covered with an inch of dust every time i’m back to hotel.
second is of course communication problem. thai people don’t speak much english ):
sometimes it’s a pain in the ass and all i ever say is ‘how much’ and ‘discount’.
but the good thing is they’re really really friendly people. (:

it’s hard not to love bangkok when…

1) you get to find coconuts everywhere.

best drink for us to refresh. and they taste really goooood.

not only can you find coconut juice, but there’s also coconut icecream.
one of the best icecream!! not too sweet but tasty enough and also really refreshing!
25 baht for the icecream plus a cup of coconut juice. super worth it!

2) yummy and cheap food everywhere.

just look at the prawns! 6 prawns for 100 baht. not tiny weeny prawns i’m talking about.

they seems to like fish a lot.

macam barbeque.

3) sometimes they have really cute stuff.

paper cup with handle for hot drinks! i don’t know i just think it’s cute cause i cant see any here.

mineral water in glass bottle. big glass.

tiny milo. :D i’m a fan of milo and i just have to buy it the moment i see it. too damn cute. a lot smaller than the ones in malaysia.

not cute. but don’t we all just love coke in glass bottle. old school.

4) for their McDonald’s.

thier ronald mcdonald is cuter than ours!

they have pork burger!! samurai pork burger or something. taste quite good actually.

they have corn pie and tuna pie. god i love their corn pie! i wish they have it in malaysia!

they have different kind of fried chicken. and one more thing, their sundae cone is cheaper than ours! not exceeding Rm1. pfft

5) getting public transport is as easy as ABC.

tuk tuk ru tuk. tuk tuk. tuk tuk is fun and faster to reach the destination if compared to taxis. the way they drive is as if they own the road. illegal turning and all, but i think no one cares. bwahah! but of course we always prefer taxis, with aircon inside and dust free.

i randomly took this picture and look! you can see 9 taxis in it. how can taking a public transport ever be a hassle thingy in bangkok!? hassle kalau in malaysia lah! pfft.

the rates for taxi is 35 baht once u get in. every 2 bath per km. cheap like mad can. it’s only 0.20 cents per km.
stupid shit it cost me bloody rm5 to get back from UCSI to my house. last time when i’m still young, i took cab from secondary school back home also cost me rm5. damn malaysia taxi tipu orang punya pfft.
okay, i need to stop ranting wtf.
some taxis in bangkok will offer you a price but it’s best to say no. just say you want it by meter cause meter is a lot cheaper.
but for tuk tuks, there’s no meter. but you can still bargain for the price they offer. (:

6) i get to bump into really really handsome guys ♥
bump into a few that is really good looking, my jaw dropped.

saw a cute guy doing some photoshoot when me and my friends walk to MBK mall. he saw me taking his pictures, he look my way and smile. :D

after we’re done at MBK mall, while we walk back I saw more people doing photoshoot and commercial.

and this guy almost makes me faint!!! he’s so good looking!! you should see him in real person.

and he too smile at my camera when i try to capture his pictures. why thailand people so good one?

7) and of course, shopping!!!

first, the stuff they sold there is dirt cheap. bangkok is the true shopping heaven no country can beat that!!
how can anyone not shop in bangkok? it’s a must!!
and second you get to shop everywhere. they have stalls like pasar malam everywhere.
you just have to stop, and buy something. they have stalls outside malls, under the pedestrian bridge, or even inside their BTS station. which is like our LRT station.
there’s malls for you to shop of course. malls like sungai wang, cheap and nice. (looks like sungai wang, but sungai wang not cheap not nice.) and malls like pavilion with lots of branded stuff, called Siam Paragon.

everything is cheap at bangkok.
shopping. food. transport. and not to left out, massage.
one hour of thai massage plus one hour of foot massage cost only 360baht.
malaysia will charge you for Rm100, minimum i think.
sigh, why malaysia like that one? so expensive. pfft me no likey!

i ♥ bangkok!

upcoming post will be pictures of me and my friends and the places we visit.
stay tune (:
