Donut

I’ve never been a fan of donut. I don’t hate it nor love it. Donut never cross my mind when I’m searching for food to eat. When I went to Pavilion with my friends, one of them told me that this shop sells amazing donut. Nope, not Dunkin Donut, I’ve never even try Dunkin Donuts before. The name is JCo Donuts & Coffee. Theres a lot of people queuing up just to buy donuts. But still it didn’t make me feel like trying it. My friend wanted to eat and so we queue up and since we queue up that long, I thought why shouldn’t I try. We bought half dozen and the price is Rm11. Each donut cost Rm2 to Rm2.50.

pict4080.jpg
Look at these people, there are even more when I queue up.

Glazzy(The original), Oreo, Crunchy, and three Double Chocolate.

pict4093.jpg
For chocolate lovers, this is definitely the donut for you. The chocolate is fill inside the donut and when you take a bite, it will flow into your mouth. I don’t like chocolate, so I don’t really like this. I know I’m weird.

Their donut is the nicest donut I’ve ever eaten so far. The bread is so soft, so so soft and it taste so good and even smells good. I heard from my friend there is a shop at Tesco, Taman Midah so I went to buy yesterday.

But how come different logo?
pict4110.jpg

But they serve the same donut.
pict4109.jpg
Cheese, Cappuccino, Spicy Floss, Double Chocolate, Durian, and Mango.

I’m a little confuse at first, so I ask the cashier.
Me: Is this the one same as Pavilion.
Cashier: Pavilion? Nope, our shop at Pavilion is not open yet.
Me: But there is this shop name JCo same as your shop. Are you all from the same branch?
Cashier: Nope, we are different.
Me: Different, but you sell the same thing. (Which looks 95% alike)
Cashier: Ya, we sell almost the same thing but we are from different company.
Me: Ok.. -.-‘

How come? Logo also almost same, donut also same, the plate they use also same, but price different. Big Apple is Rm9.50 for half dozen and JCo is Rm11 for half dozen.
Which one taste better? Definitely JCo because their bread is softer, but Big Apple also worth eating. Dunkin Donut? I don’t know.

Pavilion

I was so boring these few days and I just do stuff like playing mahjong, lying around, and going out. I’m so so lazy, I only attend like one class every week. I slept at 3 or 4 in the morning everyday and wake up at about 1 or 2 in the afternoon. This routine makes me feel so tiring. I know, such bad habit to sleep so late at night.

Anyway, I went to Pavilion to catch a glimpse and see what shops they have there. Mont Blanc, CalvinKlein, Burberry, and brands like that. I don’t even know if I spell those brands correctly. Forgive me if I do since I never have the chance to walk in to those shops. The price tags is powerful enough to shock me to death because I’m a poor little girl without money. Pavilion also have shops like Zara, Topshop and Esprit and don’t worry; they don’t have lala shops there so you wont have a chance to hurt your eyes by watching lalas walk pass you.
Foods there are from medium to expensive but I’m not very sure as there are still some shops which are not open yet.

I went to this Thai food restaurant, Rain Nudle House to have my dinner. This restaurant is from the same chain as Good Evening Bangkok and lots more that I couldn’t remember the name, so the food they serve is almost the same but with a very different interior design.

[Tom Yam soup with coconut milk] The combination of tom yam and coconut milk is just as perfect as curry wit coconut milk. Taste so good.

pict4087.jpg
[Green curry – Chicken] Their’s green curry taste very nice, the moment you put it in your mouth, that very tasty green curry is all over your mouth.

Four dishes + four white rice + 2 pots of tea + whatever tax = Rm80. The price is affordable, not very cheap nor too expensive.

I wanted to post about the yummylicious dough nut but I’m very very very sleepy because I want to be a good girl today and wake up early to go for my class. I’m seriously very sleepy so I’ll post the dough nut tomorrow. :)

Dim Sum at Restaurant Ful Lai

I wanted to eat something since this morning and my mom didn’t cook anything, except for porridge which I don’t really feel like eating. The whole day I was craving for food, hmm, some little fried foods. So I decided to head to Restaurant Ful Lai for some fried dim sum and not to forget, they have salad sauce or mayonnaise you call it.

Only order two steam dim sum because I only want to eat the fried ones.

Siew Mai.

pict3792.jpg
Yu Mai, which I don’t eat at all.
Each plate cost Rm2.80.

pict3789.jpg
Fried Wantans.

pict3790.jpg
Red plate cost Rm3 each.

pict3788.jpg
Pandan Chicken, it don’t feel like chicken when I bite it but it really smells and tastes good.

pict3784.jpg

pict3785.jpg

For the blue plate, each plate cost Rm3.50. Both the fried ones have shrimps inside and I tell you, their shrimp is so crispy or bouncy. I don’t know how to name it.

The dim sum here is a bit more expensive compare to other dim sum restaurants but overall, it is worth it. The bill is Rm25 including all the above dim sums, one Char Siew Pau that cost Rm1.50, and two leong sui which cost Rm1.20 each.
Rstaurant Ful Lai is located at Kuchai Lama, just opposite from Kuchai Lama’s Food Court and it is a corner shop. Very easy to find but in case you cant find it, here is the address;

Stalling at Pasar Malam

I went to Connaught’s pasar malam for shopping stalling (since they are stalls, not shops).
See, I’m this poor little girl with not much money and at the same time want to shop so much and so it turns to stalling at pasar malam. I couldn’t remember when is the last time I really really shop and buy whatever I like. Few years back I guess. Ever since my mom stop giving me allowance, money is such a big deal to me. Rm30 for a top and I will like, shit lah, why so expensive. Sigh, hard life I’m having. Hehe, but since I work at Cineleisure and have my pay, so I went for a little shopping stalling. On my way, I saw this 100 Yen stall selling some stuff like ice-cream.

They call it Snow Ice.
pict3690.jpg

Chocolate flavor.
pict3692.jpg

pict3693.jpg

Can you see how soft and fluffy the ice is? It really looks and taste like snow ice. I really love the texture. However, I find the taste of chocolate not so nice. I only like the ice. I will try other flavor next time. Really a must try.
Cost Rm4.90 at 100 Yen shop.

I’ll be working again this Saturday with Shaun.
By then, I’ll have more money to shop. *evil grin*

Another Movie Outing

I went to watch Secret yesterday with a bunch of friends. I never plan to watch this movie actually. No offense to those who like Jay, but I am not really interested in his movie except Initial D which is a must watch. So since my friends asked me to go and I’ve saw some review on this movie that this is a good one, I just give it a try.

jay001ah2.jpg

Well, I must say this is indeed a good movie. Totally not what I expected.
I know this is a love story, I sweet story, but the whole story line just shocked me.
This is a great movie, really. Jay gives a very different feel in this movie.
He is humorous and cute (the way he act, not his look). The whole movie is fill up with piano and I just love the sound of piano so much. I’ve like piano since I was small although I suck at it.
I’m not sure, maybe it will bore some guys but all of us like it. But if you like piano and music just like me, I think you should really try this out.

I saw this poster at Time Square’s cinema. I cartoon by Disney and its in Chinese I think.
It looks really cute and I’m waiting for it, I really wanna watch.
pict3648.jpg
Cute right? Yes or No?

I really like to watch cartoon a lot recently, I don’t know why. I guess that they really are producing a lot of nice cartoons, like Shark Tales which I’ve watch for more than three times. Haha, Shark Tales are so funny. :D Chicken Little, Cars, Finding Nemo, and lots more. Recently they have Ratatouille which I have waited for so many months, like more than six months.
I’ve watch it and I must also say, I like it a lot. Nice graphic, nice story. I just love the whole thing, so funny and cute. I don’t wanna talk so much, I just love it, and I love Linguini :), I don’t know why.

After the movie we went to have our dinner at Yulek Kampung Cheras Baru, Restaurant Kam Kitchen.
The food there was really nice, and not really that expensive.
pict3646.jpg

pict3638.jpg
Fishy that I like a lot when I was small. Every time when my family and I went to Chinese Restaurant, my brother and I will definitely stand and look at those fishy.

pict3641.jpg
The Choi Tam, I love this vege.

pict3642.jpg
The taufu.

pict3644.jpg
The ‘Three Steam Egg’, contain normal egg, salty egg, and I don’t know whats that name call – blacky egg.

pict3643.jpg
My favorite dish, lai you har kau, I tell you, the yellow lai you is damn good.

pict3645.jpg
Pork ribs.

I don’t know the address of this Restaurant, and I don’t know the way either because my friend brought me there. Ok, I guess thats all. :)

August 11, 2004, is the day me and him get together.
The first time I met him is on my friend Alicia’s birthday party.
I was only 14 at that time. She introduce us and we chat through ICQ.
We started ‘dating’ but without holding hands. Our relationship is an on and off relationship.
Two years later, he shift to my school and I met him everyday but I don’t like him anymore.
Until one day, I saw him wearing his prefect uniform for the first time and the way he look really attract me. However, we never get together because he said that he was afraid of the on and off relationship. One day he told me that if someone fold 999 stars and make a wish, hie or her wish will come true. Straight away I went to Popular to buy papers and make stars.
Whenever there is free time, I’ll make it. No matter it is at school or at home or eating or whatever. When I finally finish making, I told him and he ask me what is my wish.
So obvious, my wish is to be with him and we date till today.
Sad to say, the stars are gone now because I broke it when we were having a fight.

Yesterday was the third year we have been together. We went to Ciao to have our dinner together. We actually decide to go to CafeCafe for our second round but we didn’t make it. He told me that he will be leaving to New Zealand to study pilot. For those who know me, I really hate it a lot.
I have my own reasons. We nearly break up but thanks to Alicia for saving us.
I’m lazy to talk bout the detail so I’ll just leave it.
After everything is cool, we went out to Bukit Bintang to have a walk.

pict3522.jpg

pict3543.jpg

pict3561.jpg

The foods are really nice except for the beef. It is not tasty enough.
But I really like the squid and the seafood soup. Real delicious.

pict3531.jpg

pict3539.jpg

Very nice light, love it.
pict3558.jpg

At Bukit Bintang eating ice-cream. I wanted to go Lecka Lecka but no ice-cream yesterday. Bad.
pict3568.jpg

His picture is so dark. It looks like he enjoys his ice cream.
pict3571.jpg

Thats all. He will be leaving to New Zealand for one whole year.
Omg, I think I couldn’t take it, but I’ll try.
Thinking of it makes me sad.
