♥ at Penang (3)

…………..continue again

Took me quite some time to edit and upload all these pictures.
We actually planned to go to the beach early in the morning but we couldn’t make it.
Reason: Too sleepy and tired. Haha..
What’s the first thing you do when you woke up at Penang? EAT!

dsc03837
* Joo Hooi Cafe.

dsc03836
* Char Kuey Teow again. In conclusion, we ate 3 different Char Kuey Teows at Penang.

dsc03834
* Fried Lobak!

dsc03833
* Penang prawn mee/ ‘har mee’.

dsc03831
* Asam Laksa! I actually prefer this one compared to the one at my previous post.

dsc03829
* Cendol! I hate the beans actually.

dsc038401
* We then head over to Kedai Kopi Seng Thor for our last meal at Penang.

dsc03838
* ‘Oh jien’! What’s the name in English?

Since we lazy bumps didn’t woke up in the morning to go to beach, we went there after our meal.

dsc03794copy
* He’s so lazy to walk to the beach, just wanna sit in the hut and chill. @.@

dsc03796copy
* And wanna strangle me some more.

dsc03801copy
* Did you guys notice I didn’t camwhore with her much in the entire trip? Haha..

dsc03805copy
* They walk so fast lorh..

dsc03807copy
* Looks like someone is forcing Weng Kee to smile for the camera. Haha..

dsc03809copy
* Funny picture, Ee is not ready yet.

dsc03811copy
* The huge rock is full with corals, kind of pain in the ass to sit on it. @.@

dsc03814copy
* xoxo (:

dsc03806copy
* Woo. I miss hugging my bii.

dsc03815copy
* Hahaha, emo picture. Or should it be act cool picture? :’p

dsc03820copy
* Our kakis! Cute couple slipper. :’D

dsc03828copy
* Inside Alphard, ready to get back to KL.

dsc03826copy
* Me hugging my bolster, getting ready to sleep. Zzz…

I kind of like sleep the entire trip. I sleep once I’m in the car.
I keep asking the same question.
‘How long we need to get to the next destination?’
Cause if its more than 20 minutes or so, I’ll sleep. Hahaha..
Gosh, I keep sleeping and sleeping.

Forgotten whether I’ve mention this before on my blog, that I always always walk the wrong way.
You know, like when I went out with Ee to places like Pavilion or where ever, I always pick the wrong way.
Which means I’m super bad with directions and none of the times I can guess it correctly. Yet, I always walk infront, like a tour guide or something but forever lead wrongly. @.@
The same happened at Penang, when we’re leaving our room to the lift, I walked the wrong way as well.
Was suppose to turn left but I walk straight.
Then when we’re done and walking back to our room, I walked the wrong way AGAIN!
Bii pulled me straight away, holding my hand like I’m a small kid or something and pulled me to our room. Wth!
What is wrong with me? ~___~ (my stupid emoticon from facebook)

And oh ya, bii slept over at my place before we went to Penang.
So while he’s sleeping, I get ready myself and go online for awhile and found out that MJ is dead.
I woke him up and ask him to get ready and when he opened his eyes, this first thing I said was not good morning.

‘Eh!!! Michael Jackson die already!!’
*Looking at me, with a super blur and stone face*
‘Really one!! Michael Jackson REALLY die already!!’
*Show me even stone-er face*
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Why I so like that? Lol.

I totally enjoy this Penang trip, how I wish we could stay there longer.
I miss Penang trip and also Langkawi trip with my lovely friends. Miss miss miss!
We really did had a great one. Hope there’s more to come. (:
*fond memories* ♥

♥ at Penang

Finally, I’ve got the time to update my Penang post. It has been a lot of years since I last went to Penang.
Ee came up with the suggestion that we go for a 2 days 1 night trip with Aaron before he ✈ to Switzerland.

dsc03724copy
* On the ferry, shipping our car to Penang.

dsc03721copy
* Great suggestion, btw.

dsc03723copy
* Mah Weng Kee looks cute, but the one on his shirt is cuter. :’D

Once we reached Penang, the boys checked-in at Tune Hotel and then we head for food straight away.
All of us is sooooo hungry!

dsc03725
* The very famous Penang Char Kuey Teow, this is the most expensive Char Kuey Teow you can find in Penang according to Ee. I think its Rm6 plus for a small plate.

dsc03727copy
* Super mouth-watering with big prawns. Damn nice lorh….

dsc03728
* Not to forget the famous Asam Laksa as well.

dsc03730copy
* Much cheaper than Char Kuey Teow, only Rm2 plus. Was kinda shocked cause its so cheap!

dsc03731
* We then head over to Bukit Bendera after our scrumptious meal.

dsc03735copy
* While waiting for the super slow train to move.

dsc03736copy
* Why she put her shades like that? @.@

dsc03740copy
* On top of the hill. (: Eh! Why everyone so tall except me? ):

dsc03742copy
* Yes, we rent bicycles and cycle around. It was kinda fun but tiring as well.

Decanter

Decanter on Friday night, for Sean’s birthday. I’ve got 2 friends named Sean, so yah.. this is another Sean.
What do you do at Decanter? Drink!!! Right after I went in, I’m forced to drink half glass of draft beer. Big glass, and I hate beer.

dsc03108copy
* Me and Ee, both looking really funny. I look like a kid here, hah! ^^

dsc03109copy
* A more decent one.

dsc03116copy
* John looking sober when actually he is not. Oh, he just told me he don’t remember taking any picture that night, lol.

dsc03118copy
* Me and Ian, who is kinda tipsy too.

dsc03119copy
* They force me to drink!! My super red face and Aaron the Bruce.

dsc03124copy
* Sigh, I’m holding tissue again.

dsc03125copy
* Haha, me like this picture.

The Decanter I went on Friday night is located at Sri Hartamas, it is actually called Decanter Too.
There’s another Decanter at Damansara Heights and I went there to have my lunch plus dinner just a week ago. Or two weeks ago? Couldn’t remember but anyway, the food pictures are after the jump.

Tenji with Family.

Lunch at Tenji with family for super belated Mother’s Day. As usual, my mom doesn’t like to go out when there’s a lot of people, she just hates the crowd. We bring the little fella along too since we don’t have to pay for him cause he’s still so small.

dsc02981copy
* Me and the little fella who gives me that very don’t-force-me-to-take-picture look.

dsc02971copy
* Chan Hou Yin and my brother.

dsc02984copy
* Eating chocolate in a very ganas way!

dsc02993copy
* He always stick with my brother. My brother is like his nanny now, haha.

dsc02998copy
* Giving me the peace sign. He always gives the peace sign all of a sudden.

dsc02999copy
* The two and a half of us.

dsc02923copy
* Me and the little fella’s baby brother.

dsc02947copy
* Such big eyes. O_O

I miss the kids now. (:

Sweet Tooth

Yes, desserts.
Which girl doesn’t like eating desserts? Especially the oh-so-good ones. But wait………
Desserts sounds really fattening, isn’t it? Fear not, because we still have some really healthy desserts or at least that is what they claim to be. (:

dsc02429copy
* Before leaving the house and for your information, I’m wearing pants. -.-

So, I went to Subang for this really famous dessert named Snowflake. People who is from Subang or those who always go there will definitely heard of Snowflake and by right, tasted their desserts before too.

dsc02440
* They have this very cute ‘UFO’ that will beep when your food is prepared.

dsc02441
* Nam Hon’s ‘Touhua + redbean’.

dsc02442
* My milky red bean ice which taste real gooooood.

dsc02443
* Weng Kee’s ‘Kidney bean + glutinous rice’.

dsc02444
* Ee Cheeng’s ‘Snowflake bestseller which consist of grass jelly ice + taroball + creamer’.

In case you didn’t know, grass jelly ice is cincau and taroball is some yam thingy. Well, for me its kinda hard to pick the dessert because there’s a lot of beans and peanuts in it which I don’t really eat.
However, what I like about Snowflake is that they have this super yummy milk or creamer thingy. They taste really gooood and I love dairy products. :D

dsc02446copy
* Weng Kee and Ee Cheeng.

Oh ya, forget to mention that this shop is opened by a Taiwanese.

dsc02450copy
* Nam Hon and me. Excuse my terrible look please.

You should really go try it if you have the chance, they also have Soya bean plus ‘you tiao’ and they claim that their beans and all is really fresh and healthy. It is just located right opposite Asia Cafe, the same row as Starbucks.

Ouh, I went to Sungai Wang to buy my stuff just the other day and Ee Cheeng wanna eat this ice-cream at Timesquare.
Its called Kindori Ice Cream and its from Japan and Taiwan.
Alright, how is this suppose to work? Its no ordinary ice-cream I can assure you.
Well, basically what they have is a fresh-milk base which means the ice-cream at first do not have any flavour in it and its white in colour.
And then you pick the flavour that you want which is basically fruits and they are ‘blast-frozen’. Freezing fruits don’t sound too appealing and healthy right?
If you think so, then its definitely wrong. It state that frozen foods more often than not is more nutritious than fresh ones because they are frozen quickly after it is picked ripe. Whereas fresh ones may lose some nutrients along the way.

Now, that’s some information isn’t it?
dsc02591copy
* Its located at Timesquare 3rd floor, somewhere near the cinema.

dsc02585copy
* This is the machine, where they’ll blend the fruit you picked into the fresh milk.

dsc02586
* The frozen fruits.

dsc02589
* More frozen fruits.

dsc02588
* If you don’t like fruits, there’s always other options. They do have coffee beans, chocolate, black sesame, mocha, and wasabi. Yes, wasabi.

dsc02590
* If you prefer seating, there’s always a place for you too.

dsc02592
* My ice-cream that taste so delicious and it is Sumiyaki coffee. It is not sweet at all and the coffee is so strong, me likey. (:
My ice-cream cost me Rm9.90, I know it sounds expensive. The lowest price is Rm6.90 without the cone and some are Rm8.90 without the cone. Yah, the cone cost me Rm1.

And then I went down to get Krispy Kreme. Of course, since I’m already at Time Square how can I not get Krispy Kreme when that is what everyone raves about.
dsc02598copy
* Krispy Kreme : Original glazed.

dsc02593
* Kinda old school feeling there.

dsc02594
* Where the donuts are process.

dsc02597
* Whole lot of variety for you to choose from.

I tried the original glazed because people keep saying that it taste the best. Well, it is way too sweet for my liking.
It is sooooooo sweet, I find it a little difficult to eat. I’m not too sure about other flavours though.
And oh, they give out free donuts as well, the original ones but I’m not too sure why. :D

What are you waiting for? Now go and try these healthy desserts, maybe not Krispy Kreme. Haha..
Maybe you would like to tell me what you think of these desserts if you have try them out. (:
