2007 Calendar..

2006 is coming to an end, 2 days left, or should I say 1 day left.
2006, not a very great year I should say. Maybe is a great year to you, but not to me.
Especially the beginning of the year.
Don’t really like this year, lots of sad, angry, jealous, compete, and on and on and on..
And now 2007 is coming, I must be happy and make 365 days in 2007 a happy day.
And to all of you too, must be happy every single day.

To celebrate the coming of 2007, I made him and myself a calendar.

This is the calendar I made for him. I’m not very satisfy with it, not nice enough.

And this is the calendar I made for myself..

And this is the present I made for Ah Loo..
Nothing expensive, just a handmade card, or you can call it poster..
It is actually 3D, but the pictures can show it..

Have a nice new year everyone..

Thelermont Hupton

I’ve always wanted to own a home someday, after I get married. hehe..
I want my home sweet home to be very comfy yet stylish.
Ikea sure is a very good choice, but I came across Thelermont Hupton, and their products are so cute and stylish. They must have a very good designer, to design such beautiful things.

~FURNITURE~
—————————

-Sway-

‘Versatile swaying perches and stools for the home.’

-Picknic-

‘A dining table to reflect changing eating patterns. The removable trolley enables meals to be eaten around the house while maintaining a sense of style and the one-legged dining floats add flexibility to eating arrangements, allow unexpected guests to be accommodated, and let a sense of picnic invade the meal.’

-Layered Sideboard-

‘A walnut and lacquer sideboard with feature drawer space that can be arranged ‘just so’.’

-How does your shelving grow?-

‘Storage by arrangement’ – shelves to grow and decorate the wall. Create geometric patterns or let nature take it’s course. A flexible system of shelves that works well in singles, in small multiples or as an extravagant flurry.’

~ACCESSORIES~
—————————

-Handjobs-

‘Inspired by Georgian door knockers, a series of coat hooks and wall art based on familiar gestures from the welcoming to the more expletive. Gestures represent; thumbs up, wave, fist, shake, OK, up yours, point, peace and ‘hand job’.’

-Unfinished Clock-

‘Clock face bent to sit on the shelf, ‘ideal as heirloom or presentation gift’.’

-Radio Noise-

‘Two-wavelength transistor radio.’

~TABLEWARE~
————————–

-Edge Plate-

‘Half on half off plate.’

Lap Mug

‘Crockery is designed for the table but people increasingly eat around the house. Mugs for indulging on the sofa with a wedge for nestling in your lap.’

~LIGHTNING~
———————

-Blown Ups-

‘Glass blown lights combining the skills of the glassworker and the playfulness of clowns and children’s entertainers. If only glass were as pliable as balloons!’

-Tight Light-

‘Suspended glass lights with intricate lace patterns.’

-DynaLight-

‘Novelty floor lighting for the home. To turn on and off pull or push the ‘detonator’ handle.’

PingMag

About Design and Making Things!

“PingMag is an online design magazine based in Tokyo. Defining the term design as broadly as we can, PingMag writes about ideas and inspiration coming from both world class designers, and from the little store on the corner. We look at everything; product design, packaging, architecture, web design, typography, illustration, photography, fashion, programming, graphics, video, art, toys, traditional crafts, graffiti, set design…. anything, in fact, that we consider inspiring and we think will excite you too.

We’re sure that there is so much to be learnt from both the very big fish, and from the amazing local artist you’ve never heard about before. And a rapidly growing readership proves that we can’t be too wrong! Design is unlimited. It can be found in anything, anywhere, anytime. PingMag has the honor to spend time finding those treasures and talking to those people who put love and thought into creating.

PingMag was started and is supported by Tokyo-based design company IMG SRC, for the joy of fueling creativity back into the design world.”

Love, Uleshka (PingMag Chief Editor)

I just discover this online magazine yesterday, and this PingMag is great. They show a lot of designs, crafts, photographs, fashion, and so much more. For those who love to design and make things, you must visit PingMag.

One of the pages I came across which I think is very great is ‘Waste needn’t be wasted’ – designs by Heath Nash. He must be a very great designer. All his creation is so beautiful, and they are usually made out of waste that people don’t need anymore, like papers, plastic, bottles, and etc.

White and colorful bottles gathered from recycling centers or simply picked up from the streets

Punching out and correcting the small plastic flowers

Check out his design..
